Hi All,

Just notifying you on an update that has been recently deployed. In this release we fixed a critical issue with attaching files to tasks. We also fixed an issue where due dates on work created on a course outline were being lost when re-importing the course. In addition we made sure that parents could not complete tasks when viewing a class page. There were also several fixes to the survey system to improve its look and feel. Finally for those working with UPS on large sets of users, we have further optimised the log parser to avoid issues running out of memory.

On a separate note, we left out communicating a security fix which we released in v16.0.6 - [SA-167] Retain source permissions when linking tiles. Previously the Tiles component would display tiles linked from alternate sources regardless of permissions. Now tiles behave like all components and no longer display sensitive tile content to anyone. This fix may require you to change permissions on linked source folders for the tiles to display, or rebuild your tiles elsewhere.
