It’s that time of year again! Schoolbox v23.1 is now in beta and ready for testing, so now is the time to jump into your school’s staging server and test all of the upcoming features and updates.
We encourage all schools to do beta testing to gain an understanding of what’s coming in the release, how it works, raise any bugs, and check that your existing custom work still functions correctly before booking your upgrade.
What’s New in v23.1?
- Unit Planner: Each course now has a unit planner view which gives you oversight of the entire course on a single page, so you can quickly review what each unit of a course covers and how it will be assessed.
- Quizzes: Our quiz system has been updated with over 40 new questions types to explore, including rich interactive images, STEM formulas, graphing and drawing.
- Lesson Activities: Lessons can now be linked with other learning activities to help guide students to complete the appropriate activities during or following a lesson.
- Advanced Search: New advanced filters now allow you to search for badges and activities, and search by date, creator and type.
- AI Assistant: Our first AI assistant has been designed to help translate, review, generate and adapt content in the rich text editor.
