Schoolbox 22.1 is ready for testing!

By Scott Salter in Release Notes

For the first time in Schoolbox history, Schoolbox Co-Founder & Chief Product Owner James Leckie presented the v22.1 Release walk through in front of a live audience at Meetup 2022!

This major release includes some awesome new features, so make sure you watch the live recording and read the

Release Notes on Schoolbox Help.

Our team of Developers have been working hard to build plenty of important and highly requested features & updates into the second major release for the year, including:

  • Understand your class and track what is happening with each individual student with the new Class Pastoral Report
  • Updated Curriculum Mapping interface streamlines the way teachers can manage curriculum and map their courses, assessments and badges effectively
  • Simplify Summative Reporting by generating PDF reports directly from Schoolbox - now with the added ability to save, review and duplicate reports
  • Introducing the New Image Transcoding System. With HEIC, WEBP, TIFF, BMP + more files are now supported by Schoolbox - great news for Junior School students, who can now easily upload Apple photos of their Learning Moments from their iPads.

And some updates:

  • Teachers can now acknowledge student work as “on time” event after the due date
  • Save any assessment from your class back to the course. Keep them for next year, or share with other classes.

You will automatically receive this release for testing on your Staging Servers on the 29th September.

At the end of the beta period, we will announce our final Gold release with instructions on how to upgrade.

Thanks for your ongoing support!
