Changes in the new Schoolbox (v15.0 to v15.6)

By Matt Sambell in Learning

In November 2015 we released the new responsive Schoolbox as part of v15.5, and while many schools jumped at the chance to upgrade to the mobile touch-friendly, new look and feel, we've also seen some schools hesitate in moving to the new responsive skin. For many schools, their hesitation has arisen from an uncertainty about how to communicate these changes to their school community.

v15.5 changed the way Schoolbox looks - all interfaces have been rebuilt to be responsive to any screen size; smart phone, tablet, laptop, desktop etc. To accommodate the possible screen sizes, the interface elements have been given new places to live when little room is available, meaning commonly used actions on a page may have relocated into 'overflow menus' or changed in appearance and size; from a button to an icon.

To help schools compare the changes from old Schoolbox (v15.0) to new Schoolbox (v15.6), we have written this helpful guide highlighting the main Changes in the new Schoolbox (v15.0 to v15.6+).
