With this latest release we have implemented the ability for parents with read access to class pages to click through into the activities in the course outline.  Please note that they will not be able to see student grades or submit work, but they will see the detail of the activity.  This is a relaxation (due to popular request) of the security settings we added in 16.5 that prevented parents from participating in course activities.  In addition we have brought back the tick indicator for students so they can clearly see which due work and quizzes they have completed on the class page. Two important bug fixes included in this release resolve inaccuracies in the box and whisker on the student grade report and recover the submission state text shown to teachers for tasks and quizzes.
