Use Clipboard Data in Schoolbox

Once configured, Clipboard data can appear across multiple areas in Schoolbox.

• calendars
• dashboard components
• homepage and group page components
• news audiences

What users see depends on which Clipboard integrations and calendar feeds your school has configured.

Clipboard events appear in the Schoolbox calendar once the Fixtures source is enabled.

To view them:

• open the Calendar.
• check that the Fixtures source (or your custom label) is selected.
• confirm the correct event type is enabled in filters.

Events are automatically updated based on data from Clipboard.

You can display Clipboard events on dashboards using components.

Two common options are:

• Calendar component: shows events based on selected calendar sources.
• My Fixtures component: shows upcoming events for the logged-in user.

To add a component:

1. go to Administration > Design > Dashboard Templates.
2. select a role.
3. drag the component onto the dashboard.
4. configure filters and display settings.

You can display team fixtures on any homepage or group page.

1. edit the page.
2. add the Fixtures component.
3. select Choose Team to filter results.

You can add multiple Fixtures components to show different teams on the same page.

Clipboard teams can be used as audiences when creating news posts.

1. create a news item.
2. in Audience, select Teams.
3. choose the relevant team.

You can also include Parents of students to extend the audience.
