Set Up Clipboard Fixtures Integration

Before setting up the Clipboard Fixtures integration, make sure you have access to both Schoolbox and Clipboard.

• you need administrator access in Schoolbox.
• you need access to Clipboard integrations to generate a token.

It is recommended to complete setup and testing in a staging environment before enabling the integration in production.

Start by enabling the required modules in Schoolbox.

1. go to Administration > Modules > Settings.
2. turn on Fixtures module.
3. turn on Clipboard integration.
4. scroll down and select Save.

Next, connect Schoolbox to Clipboard using your integration credentials.

1. go to Administration > System Settings > 3rd Party Services.
2. find the Clipboard integration settings.
3. enter the following:

• Clipboard Endpoint Host: https://api.clipboard.app
• Clipboard Endpoint Token: your Clipboard API token

The token is generated and managed in Clipboard and is unique to your school.

Tokens can be managed from:

https://go.clipboard.app/integration/api

You may need assistance from your school's Clipboard administrator or IT team to generate the token.

Select Save once complete.

After saving your credentials, you can confirm the integration is working.

Add /fixtures to the end of your Schoolbox URL to view synced data.

You should see data such as sports, teams, students, venues, and sessions populated from Clipboard.

If no data appears, the initial sync may still be pending.

To display Clipboard data in Schoolbox, you need to enable the Fixtures calendar source.

1. go to Administration > Calendar > Subscribe.
2. turn on Fixtures.
3. select Save.

It is recommended to assign a clear label and event type to help users identify these events.

Once setup is complete, notify Schoolbox support or your School Engagement Manager.

Schoolbox will trigger the initial sync to pull data from Clipboard into your instance.

After this, data will update automatically on a regular schedule.
