Schoolbox lets you restore selected deleted records.
To restore a deleted record:
- Go to Administration > Resources > Restore.
This opens the Restore page.
- Next, in Filter Deleted Records:, select the time range:
- Last 7 days
- Last 14 days
- Last month
- Last 3 months
Note: If it's outside this time range, please contact Schoolbox for help.
- Then, select the tab to choose which type of record you want to restore. For example:
- Folder
Note: If you restore a parent folder, it will also restore all its child items. - Learning Activity
- Users
- Files
- Courses
Note: Restoring a course will also restore its units and assessments. If you deleted activities before deleting the entire course, those activities will not be restored when you restore the course. - Units
- Imported Courses
- Imported Units
Notes:- When you restore a deleted item (like a course, folder, assessment, or unit), Schoolbox also automatically restores any child records (things inside it) that were deleted along with it at the same time.
- If you deleted a child separately before deleting the parent, the system won't restore that child automatically — you’ll need to restore it manually.
- Folder
- Based on the tab you’ve selected, go to the record in the list and then select the Restore icon for that row.
A confirmation message appears.
- Select Yes to confirm and proceed with the restore action.
This restores the record for you.
You’ve now restored a deleted record in Schoolbox.
