- With the introduction of the preferred name field, there are no essential changes, however if you wish to use this field, rather than given name, there are a couple of things to action. You will need to review the UPS field mappings and adjust the ‘Name Output Format’ config in Admin > System Settings > Localisation
- The TASS API now optionally can use the employee HR endpoint to fetch staff titles and photos. To enable this you must enter the credentials for that endpoint into the TASS API configuration screen.
- If you are using pastoral severities, we have introduced a new colour field that can be assigned to each severity via the admin system. We recommend that you review the colours assigned to severities to ensure they are appropriate for your use cases. Go to Admin -> Lists -> Pastoral Record Severity

A Class Pastoral Report has been added, providing teachers with quick insights into their class pastoral information. Quickly sort and search for information relevant to the students in your care. Look for ILPs, medical plans, track NCCD reports, watch for behavioral issues, or access transition notes from previous teachers. It is now easier than ever to see what other teachers are documenting about students in your class.

Make sure you get notified about the issues that are relevant to your role. Set up custom pastoral reports and be notified when new records are added that match your custom report settings. This will allow your pastoral leaders, heads of house, year level coordinators and executives to be notified the moment something happens that is relevant to them. Pastoral reports can also now be shared with individual people. In additional pastoral reports now can be modified by more than just the owner, allowing them to be shared and modified by the team.
