How a Student Accesses their Grades Page

1. A Student selects the 'Feedback' tab (this maybe named differently at your school).

2. The Student's Grades Page will open, this page will display the current subjects that the Student is participating in for the current Academic Period. In most schools the current Average Grade will be dislayed to the right hand side of each subject area.

3. The Student will navigate to the Subject or Academic Period of choice, this will then open a new page where all of the results and commentary will be displayed for this Subject.

6. The Student results will then be displayed.

How Teachers can access an Individual Students Grades Page

  1. Go to the student's Profile page.
     
  2. Select Grade. The student's Grades page will open:

  3. Select the subject or the academic period (Term, Semester, or Year) to filter the grades. The Student results will then be displayed:

    Note: You can select the 3-dot menu icon 3-dot Menu Iconand then select View Student Grades or View Instructor Grades. This helps you quickly access and review grades for either students or instructors. Based on your selection, it displays as 'Viewing Student Grades' or 'Viewing Instructor Grades'.
     
  4. Grades and commentary can then be filtered by Assessment Type, Weighting, or by Work Type by utilising the drop-down selectors; then select Apply Filters:

  5. The filtered results will then appear:

Student Commentary

Are you sure you want to remove this component?

Within each Subject it is possible for the your Schoolbox Adminstrator (Superuser) to enable  Student Commentary on the Invidivual Grade Summary Page. If this is enabled a Student will see a 'Comments' box at the bottom of thecpage. The student will also have the flexibility to share these commets with their Parents if this featutre is enabled.

Class Results Graph

1. Select the 'Class Results' tab on the Student My Grades Page.

NOTE :  The Class Results box and whisker graphs display where the student sits amongst their peers for specific assessment pieces.

Learning Levels

1. Select the 'Learning Levels' tab on the Student My Grades Page.

Learning Levels displays where the student is currently aligned based upon the correlation of their grading on Submissions to Rubric Capabilities and Indicators awarded.

 

Progression Graph

1. Select the 'Progression' tab on the Student My Grades Page.

The Progression graph displays where the student is currently aligned compared to where they were previously in their Submission History.  

NOTE : It is advised to use the same Grade Scale for assessment items in order to maintain the validity of Progression Graphs.

Administration Settings

The Superuser at your School will need to enable certain features inside the Student Grades Page, such as Graphs, Marks and Comments. To access this area the Superuser must navigate to Administration > LMS > LMS Policy. This where all of the settings reside.

Understanding Feedback

Teacher Feedback is listed chronologically on the lower part of the Student Grades Page. 

  • Select the Learning Activity Title to view the Submission History and Feedback.
  • Tasks that have been submitted and are awaiting review will display an orange 'Tick'.
  • Tasks that have been reviewed by the Teacher will dispaly a green 'Tick'
  • Tasks awaiting Submission will have a grey box
  • Due Work items and quizzes that have been marked will display the result in green and commentary below

Other points to note:

  • The Due Date and Submission Date are visible in this area
  • Overdue work is highlighted with red text
  • Attempt history is visible
