Overview - Admin Area

Only users who are Superusers can access your instance's Admin area. The Schoolbox Administration area is for the configuration and management of the platform. In the Admin area, you will find all Technical, Policy and User settings required for the system, allowing you to control many aspects of your instance. The changes that are made via the Admin Area are Global and will make have ramifications to large groups of Users inside your instance.

Superusers and Moderators with certain service permissions (e.g. Calendar Moderator) can access the Admin Area by following the steps below:

1. Select your profile picture.

2. Select Administration.

The Administration Area will then open. The below image shows what a Superuser will see. Moderators with service permissions will only see the menu dropdowns relevant to their role. e.g. A Calendar Moderator will see only the Calendar dropdown menu.
