Schoolbox Sponsor (Max 1 Sponsor)

Schoolbox requires the school to nominate a member of staff who has the authority to sign off on Schoolbox business decisions and is an appropriate escalation point for any critical decisions or incidents. This person should be a member of the executive team or have been granted authorisation to act on behalf of the executive team. They will be responsible for the nomination and updating of the other communication roles within the school, including Primary and Secondary IT contacts and registered support contacts. 

Schoolbox will communicate with the Schoolbox Sponsor regarding the following:

  • Critical Incident Reports
  • Process and Account escalation when required
  • School wide platform changes
  • Limited to 1 Schoolbox Sponsor

  • Authorisation to sign-off on key business decisions

 

Key Contact (Max 1 Key Contact)

Each school is required to nominate a Key Contact. This person will be the key point of contact for all day-to-day interactions and communications, including the ability to book upgrades. They will be responsible for the nomination and updating of the other communication roles within the school, including Primary and Secondary IT contacts and registered support contacts. 

This person will be authorised by the school to be the key point of contact and receive the following communication from Schoolbox: 

  • Details of upcoming releases
  • Information regarding events 
  • Roadmap directions
  • Any additional product related communications

Requirements:

  • Non-generic email address
  • Mobile number provided
  • Authorisation to sign-off on day-to-day Schoolbox matters.
  • Limited to 1 Key Contact

 

Primary IT contact (Max 1 Primary IT Contact)

This person will be nominated as the primary technical contact. If a critical incident is taking place, they will be the primary contact during this time. They will also be the first point of contact for escalations of a technical nature.

Requirements:

  • Non-generic email address
  • Mobile number provided
  • Authorisation to respond to any technical issues with the school
  • Limited to 1 Primary IT Contact

 

Secondary IT Contact (Max 2 Secondary IT Contacts)

These users will be nominated to be back-up to the Primary IT contact, if they are unable to be reached.

Requirements:

  • Non generic email address
  • Mobile number provided
  • Limited to 2 Secondary IT Contacts

 

Accounts Payable (Max 1 Accounts Payable)

Responsible for finances within the organisation.

Requirements:

  • Limited to 1 Accounts Payable

 

Support Registered Users (Max 3 Support Registered Users)

These users will have been nominated by the Schoolbox Key Contact. They will be able to log support tickets and call the support desk as and when required. In addition to the above specified roles, a school can choose to nominate a further 3 users as registered support contacts. You do not need to list users here who have already been listed as either Sponsor, Key Contact, Primary Emergency Contact or Emergency Contact here.
