The Localisation tab allows you to view the format required for dates and times within your Schoolbox instance. You can also then adjust your settings to match your location, using the specified formats.

1. Navigate to Administration > System Settings > Localisation.
The top part of the page shows you the date and time formats that you should use to make changes to the localisation data.
The bottom part of the page allows you to make changes to suit your location and requirements.

When the academic year of a school differs from that of a calendar year, users can set a start date that aligns with the beginning of the school year within their context. By default this is set as 01/01.
For schools located where the school academic year does not align with the calendar year (commonly in the Northern Hemisphere), entering dates within this field allows users to filter grades shown on the Grade Pages by school year, as well as set the duration of Pastoral Flag Count Periods, and the Pastoral Report Time Periods.
To adjust the Academic Year dates follow the steps below.
1. Navigate to Administration > System Settings > Localisation
2. Enter the day and month of the start of the year.
NOTE: Date must be entered into this field using day/month format.
