Allowed Files

Overview - Allowed Files

Are you sure you want to remove this component?

Schoolbox’s Administration system includes an interface for managing allowed files types and sizes. File types that are supported by Schoolbox out-of-the-box are generally sufficient for the content that most schools will be utilising, however if you need to increase a file size limit or add some obscure file type, it’s very quick and easy to do so.

On this page, you will find the following information:

Add a New File Type

Allow Staff to Upload Zip Folders

Modifying Allowed File Types

Modifying the Default Allowed File Sizes

View Allowed Files

NOTE: The video and audio capture tool (as found in the file picker modal) is not affected by the Allowed Files settings and is hard-coded to limit recordings to 3 minutes.
