The 'Homepages' tab in the 'Administration System' is an area to create and modify templates for your homepages, such as course, class and unit pages. Templates are used by schools to keep consistency throughout their learning environment and/or to help teachers with page creation with preloaded components that have useful prompts for them when adding content. Before class pages are created, a Superuser must set the homepage template for the class pages. We recommend only including components that are absolutely required in your homepage template. Teachers can add any further components they want; but presenting the required components as part of the template will help them understand the minimum expectations for their class page.

NOTE: Homepage Templates provide a starting point for new pages, but any user with write access to the page can still add, delete, or move components.
