The Schoolbox User interface has a number of key spaces with which to provide quick and easy access to areas with your instance. Side menu items are links enable quick access to information that users require.
The information displayed in the side menu will differ depending on the role of the user. This guide will outline how to manage the side menu.

1. Go to Administration > Design > Side Menu.
2. To modify the names of the 'Sections' that will be displayed on the side menu for your users, select the field and type.
3. Use the grab-handles to change the display order for these sections.
4. Use the drop down menu to choose if an item is visible or hidden for all users.

1. Go to Administration > Design > Side Menu.
2. Select the '+' icon at the top right of the 'Menu Items' section.
4. Enter the name of your side menu link in the 'Title' field.
5. Enter the URL in the 'Destination URL' field or choose 'Browse' to select the destination from within your instance.
6. Select your 'Destination Target' using the drop-down menu.
7. Use the checkboxes to select which campuses and roles the menu item will be visible to.
8. Select 'Save'.
The new menu item will appear at the bottom of the list. You can click and drag your menu item to the desired location in the list.
NOTE: Use the arrows to expand or collapse the menu items to ensure you move your menu item to the correct location.
