NOTE: Edumate connector is currently only available for direct database integration to on-premise Edumate.
To enable the Schoolbox/Edumate integration please reach out to Edumate support and ask them to create the following data sources for you:

To setup the edumate connection in Schoolbox navigate to Administration -> Settings -> External DB and :
- Select Edumate as Connector
- Enter Edumate database name
- Enter Database Host
- Enter Database User
- Enter Database Password
Be careful when configuring your Data cache time-out as this may impact the performance of your system during peak times.
If you are finding issues with your Edumate connector, click on the health check will show you if the corrrect permissions have been setup within Edumate.
