Adding EOTC links to the Side Menu
To facilitate navigation, the following pages need to be added as links to the side menu:
- EOTC permissions (superusers): /modules/eotc/permission/modify
- EOTC configuration option (superusers): /modules/eotc/config/modify
- My EOTC events (all staff): /modules/eotc/myReview
- Pending EOTC events workflow (users with permissions): /modules/eotc/review
All the other EOTC pages are accessible via the above 4 pages.
NOTE: Users can also link through to the pages via an EOTC landing page.
Configuring EOTC Permissions
1. Add /modules/eotc/permission/modify to the end of your URL. E.g: https://exampleschoolbox/modules/eotc/permission/modify
2. Search the user in the search field.

3. Select a campus to which the settings will apply for the user selected.

4. Select the statuses, these are what actions the user will be able to perform.

5. Select the subscriptions the user will receive notifications for.

6. Select 'Assign'.
Setting EOTC configuration options
1. Add /modules/eotc/config/modify to the end of your URL. E.g: https://exampleschoolbox/modules/eotc/config/modify
2. Configure the available settings including:
- First reminder - this is the number of days before an event that an email reminder will be sent if it has not been finalised. An email reminder will go to the creator of the event and all people capable of approving an event (configured in EOTC permissions).
- Daily reminder - daily email reminders will be sent from the number of days specified in this field to people capable of approving an event, and the event creator.
- Urgent Threshold - events that are not fully approved will be shown as urgent from the number of days set in this field from the due date.
- Policy - this is an open field where you can enter any policy about EOTC into the text editor.
3. Select 'Submit'.
Configuring global EOTC notification settings
1. Navigate to Administration > Notifications
2. Locate the 'EOTC' notification settings.
3. Set notification preferences for staff members that are initiating, in charge of and/or moderating EOTC events.

Enabling EOTC events to show on the calendar
1.Navigate to Administration > Calendar > Subscribe
2. Toggle on EOTC to allow EOTC calendar events to appear on the Schoolbox calendar.

NOTE: The EOTC terminology can be customised to a term specific for your school, therefore it may be called something other than EOTC.
NOTE: Prior to approval, EOTC events will be visible on the calendar only to moderators, involved staff and the teacher in charge. Once it is approved, the event will be visible to everyone. Events awaiting approval show translucent and approved events show opaque on the calendar.
Changing EOTC Terminology
Your school may wish to change what EOTC and related EOTC terms are called in your instance. This can be done through the Administration settings.
1. Navigate to Administration > Terminology
2. Navigate to the EOTC terminology you wish to change and alter the Singular Form and Plural Form.

3. Select 'Save'.
