The File Drop Box component is a quick way for teachers to add a collection point of files to their pages. There is no means of providing feedback or integrating this component to the class markbook. As a result this component would be for students to quickly share a submission with their teacher that may be resulting from a short class or home task. If tracking of submissions is required, building a Course or using the Due Work or Task components would be a more appropriate choice of component.

1. To add the component to your page, select the '+' button at the top of your page.

2. Select the 'Learning' tab.

3. Drag and drop the component to the desired location.

Using the File Drop Box component as a Student

Are you sure you want to remove this component?

1. Navigate to the File Drop Box Component.

2. Add a description or title to the file.

3. Drag and drop the file onto the drop zone or click to choose a file.

4. Select 'Upload'.

Are you sure you want to remove this component?

1. Unlock your page.

2. Select the 'Settings' cog on the component.

3. Select 'Collapse Content' if you wish the component to be collapsed.

NOTE: Users can open the component using the drop-down arrow.
4. Select 'Update' to save changes.
