The Countdown component is a great feature that can be added to pages to help build excitement around a school event or item in a calendar. Possible examples would be setting up a countdown to the school swimming or athletics carnival on the school's sports page, an upcoming Camp on a year level or class page or the date on which school breaks for the summer holidays! On this page you will find the following information:

1. To add the component to your page, select the '+' button at the top of your page.
2. Select the 'Information' tab.
3. Drag and drop the component to the desired location.
4. Select 'Set a date and time'.
5. Give the Countdown an appropriate heading.
6. Click 'Select Date' to open the date picker.
7. You will now have the option of 'Select by Date' or 'Select by Timetable' if your timetable is integrated with Schoolbox. Select the end date and time for your countdown.
8. Select Update.
