Schoolbox has a Staff Directory built into the system. It can display a list of current staff by drawing information from Synergetic.
To access the staff directory, simply add the following URL to your sidebar menu:
/modules/report/staff
You must then add a link on the side menu so that staff can access the directory. Remember to make it visible to any of the staff roles you choose (eg. staff, teachers, admin, etc).
By default, this list is only visible to other staff, it cannot be seen by any user in any other role type. If you would like it to be visible to parents, you may toggle the availability by navigating to Administration > Settings > Policy and toggling on “Allow Parents Access to Staff Details”. You would then need to make the side menu link accessible to the parent role type as well. Before you do this, you may want to check the configuration options explained below.
NOTE: The staff directory will never be visible to any user in the “student” or “guest” role types.
