Synergetic Scheduler

This feature allows users to subscribe to the calendars from their SIS, Synergetic. This only works for Synergetic schools that are using the Synergetic Scheduler module. 

Turning on the event synchronisation for the external database will display staff scheduled events in the relevant teacher and student calendars in Schoolbox. This may include things like music lessons, coaching classes, or some other activity that is not in the timetable, but has a teacher and student involved in the event.

Permissions:

• The standard calendar permissions apply to this connection:
• Superusers can see all calendar events.
• Teachers can see any events relevant to them.
• Parents can see their own and their child’s events.
• Students can only view their own events.

1. Navigate to Administration > Calendar > Subscribe.

2. In the Event section, toggle the External Database switch to “ON”.

NOTE: Synergetic Scheduler events won’t trigger an instant notification when the event is about to commence, even if this notification setting is switched on.
